Terms of service
Last updated 2026-10-25. These terms apply when you use Call Japan, operated by MOCHIRON Co., Ltd..
[VERIFY: have these terms reviewed by a lawyer before launch.]
1. The service
We make phone calls in Japanese on your behalf and report the result to you in English. We act as your messenger: the business you call makes its own decisions, and its terms (cancellation fees, deposits, house rules) apply to you directly.
2. Plans and payment
Our plans are Ask ($9), Book ($17), Handle ($29), priced in USD. We confirm the plan before you pay. Payment is by secure card payment link sent in WhatsApp. Prices are per request, not per minute.
3. Refunds
No result? Full refund. What counts as a result for each plan is set out in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
4. Calls we decline
We don't make emergency calls (dial 119 for ambulance or fire, 110 for police), calls that impersonate you to banks or authorities, calls that negotiate legal or medical decisions for you, or anything illegal, abusive or deceptive. We may decline any request; if we do after payment, we refund in full.
5. Your information
You agree that we may share the details needed for the call (such as your name, booking time and party size) with the business we call. See our privacy policy.
6. Liability
We take care to pass on information accurately, but we can't guarantee what a business tells us or how it acts afterwards. Our total liability for any request is limited to the price you paid for it.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. [VERIFY: competent court, e.g. Oita District Court.]
