Many restaurants, clinics, salons and couriers in Japan ask for a local phone number before they'll confirm a booking. With Call Japan's Book plan ($17), we make the booking for you and give our Japanese number as the contact. Any callback comes to us, and we pass it to you on WhatsApp in English.

Tell us what you'd like to book (a restaurant, clinic, salon, redelivery or anything else) and the details you'd normally type into the form.
We call in Japanese, make the booking in your name, and give our Japanese phone number as the contact.
You get the confirmation on WhatsApp. If the business calls back to confirm, change or ask something, we answer and pass it on to you in English.

It's rarely about checking who you are. Businesses want a number they can actually call if you're late, if they need to confirm details, or if something changes, a sold-out course, a closed day, a doctor running behind. Overseas numbers are often expensive or awkward for them to call, so many forms simply won't accept one.
Phone-only restaurants, clinic appointments, courier redelivery, luggage forwarding and bulky waste pickup are the bookings where a local number matters most. Each has its own page below with more detail.
We give our number, not yours. We don't share your personal phone number with the business unless you ask us to, for example, if a courier needs to reach you on the day of delivery.
If the business calls back about a booking we made, we answer and pass it on, whether that's later the same day or weeks later. You don't need to be reachable on a Japanese number at all.
Yes, always. We explain that we're a call service booking on behalf of a guest who doesn't speak Japanese. Businesses in Japan are generally comfortable with this, it saves them a difficult phone call too.
That's included for that booking. If the restaurant, clinic or courier calls us about it, we pass the message to you on WhatsApp, whenever it comes.
No. We can only be the contact for bookings we make for you, because we need to know what the business is calling about. If you've found a form that needs a Japanese number, send us the details and we'll book it instead.
