Good to know

Finding the right number

Your management company's number is usually on your rental contract, on a sticker inside a kitchen cupboard, or on a notice in the building entrance or by the mailboxes. Some buildings have a separate 24-hour line for urgent problems.

Photos and timing help

A photo of the problem and any error code on the display, plus when it started, often lets the repair company bring the right part on the first visit, saving you a second wait.

Gas smell, flooding or fire

For a gas smell, flooding or fire, call the emergency number on your contract or 119 first. Don't wait for us. Message us afterwards and we'll handle the follow-up calls.

Who pays for repairs

In many rentals, the landlord pays for wear and breakdowns of equipment that came with the apartment, while damage you caused may be charged to you. Your contract has the details, we can ask the management company how they'll treat your case.

What we can't do

  • We don't negotiate rent, deposits or move-out charges.
  • We don't make complaints against your landlord or neighbours, or handle disputes, these may need a lawyer.
  • We can't let repair workers into your apartment or be there in person.
  • We're not an emergency service: for a gas smell, flooding or fire, call the emergency number on your contract or 119.
